A Wicked Happy Birthday...

So for my birthday, wonderful hubby Jake, got me tickets to see Wicked at the Fabulous Fox Theater in Atlanta Wednesday night!  SO Broadway Musicals, Landmarks, Mexican Dinner AND a date night!  Do birthdays get any better?  Well of course they do, my two babies made me birthday cards, Jake took me to lunch, I did not have to work, I slept late (well sort of), went shopping and topped the night off with DINNER at Krispy Kreme (yes Dinner)!  So with all that going on, the day was pretty darn good!
I am one lucky 35 year old!  I am working on being a 'grown up' now, hard stuff but so far no temper tantrums... yet.  (Yes, still talking about me:))  Well one more year down.  But I am ok with that. (I'm pretty sure).

Ansley's is the pink one and Sarah did the brown and green ones ALL by HERSELF!

From Ansley Kate!

From Sarah Madeline!  It's me!

It all started with a mouse...

So... we recently went to Walt Disney World.  (Yes, took the kids out of school and went!)  We had a blast, the lines were short, the weather was fabulous and everyone had a blast!  Now for the first time Ansley is tall enough to ride everything but... Sarah is not.  Now this caused some issues but we managed to find plenty for Sarah to do (although she wanted to ride everything!).  This kid is fearless!  Both girls also started trading pins, which at first I thought was kinda dumb but they loved it and so that made me happy.  They each started with 4 and traded about a thousand times and somehow came home with 8 each!  They both made many friends along the way as well.
Ansley's favorite ride is the Jungle Cruise so we rode it a lot!  She knows all the jokes by heart (and once even got to drive the boat!)  Sarah's favorite ride was a toss between Peter Pan and the Haunted Mansion.  Yes, The Haunted Mansion, she loved it and even has a spooky voice to go along with it.  She also can narrate almost the entire ride! Jake and I love both of these so we were happy to oblige them.
We looked for hidden Mickey's and found lots and probably made some up but I am sure we missed thousands!
Both girls enjoyed a visit to the Pirate's League Boutique and had a blast! They both got make overs, pirate names, swords and took the pirate oath!  They are both honorary pirates and Ansley even sword fought with the Jack Sparrow's first mate!
We met Rapunzel, however Flynn Ryder was not around (much to Sarah's dismay)!  We had dinner with Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Ariel....very very cool!  We met Tinkerbell, the fairy godmother, Phineas and Ferb, Sully and Mike from Monsters Inc and Princess Tiana, Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Daisy.  What an all star line up!
We went to the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.  (And this is called a vacation?)
We also met up with Rusty, Brenda and Russell.  We had a blast with them!  I was glad that we all got to hang out, and can't wait to go back and visit Russell!
We also saw Fantasmic for the first time and it was AMAZING!  I recommend it highly.  We had amazing seats at Tony's restaurant for the Main Street Electric Parade, very cool indeed!
We ate and ate and ate and then we ate some more.
I know the girls can't wait to go back but I want to wait until they finish the new Fantasyland some time in 2012.  They are doing some great work there!  Can NOT wait to visit the Beast's Castle!
Here are a few of our favorite things.....by park!
Magic Kingdom-
Pirates of the Caribbean, The Jungle Cruise, The Haunted Mansion, Snow White's Scary Adventures, The Mad Hatters Tea Party, Space Mountain....OK let's just say it....Magic Kingdom was the BEST..all of it!
EPCOT-
Mission Space, Soarin, Jake and I loved the countries, Spaceship Earth and Turtle Talk with Crush.
Animal Kingdom-
The Safari Ride, The Yetti Ride, The Nemo Show, The Boneyard, eating breakfast with Donald, Mickey, Goofy and Daisy.
Hollywood Studios-
Toy Story Mania, Fantasmic, The Rocking Roller Coaster, The Tower of Terror, The Little Mermaid Show and meeting Phineas and Ferb.
Again, this was suppose to be vacation, right?
All in all we had a blast!  So here is the good part, enjoy the pictures!
