Making Cookies...

Ansley and Sarah love to cook and bake. Tonight we all made cookies with some very cool cookie cutters from Ikea. There is a moose, a fox, a porcupine, a bear and a squirrel.Unfortunately, there was no sugar cookie dough at the grocery store so we decided to use chocolate chip dough...cookies just don't work as well. We had a good time anyway and of course the best part was eating the chocolate chip cookies. :)

spring has sprung...

With so much going on, I forgot to write about Ansley Kate and Jake running the Bear Run at school in March.  She took 2 & 1/2 minutes off of last years time.  That is awesome!  I am so proud of her!

After the run, we spent some time outside, playing in the sun.  It was another beautiful day!  The catnip had come up and Jackson was happy about it...

Another day we went to the park to fly kites because we had been having some really windy days!  It was sooo beautiful but still a little chilly from all of that wind.

Finally Spring Break has arrived and with it mine and Jake's 14th anniversary...14 years...wow.  Where did all of that time go?  Time flies when you're having fun!! 

Yesterday, we actually spent some time outside working on the yard (since everything has taken a backseat to the still unfinshed kitchen) and it looks so much better!  Everything is blooming and (yellow, of course) weeds were everywhere as well.  Lots of work but it looks great!
